I enjoyed listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show while I lived in Augusta, GA. Thanks to the power of technology I can continue to enjoy the comedic genius of Steve and his crew here in Hawaii via http://www.power107.net . On the morning of the 17th Steve was celebrating his 51st birthday and let me tell you, Steve is still fly. In fact, on his website he is promoting to young folks entering 30 and above to have a “Take your shirt off” campaign of their own. Now women, don’t go around taking your shirt talking about Steve told you to. As the comedian Sommore puts it, most of us are guilty of having “tight fat”, meaning we work out but we don’t diet. Yes, I said we to include myself. So Steve, with the help of his crew and many other special guests, is trying to promote healthy eating and exercise to his listeners. Among the many other great things I hear on his show I felt that I would share at least this aspect with my readers. If you have a moment stop by the site and look for the link leading you to Steve’s personal page where you can look at his transformation and also get a chance to take a challenge of your own and post your picture. It’s always nice to see people eating right and exercising. Ahem, I might need to take my own advice, lol. Anyway, whether you want to be “30 and tight”, “40 and fit”, or “50 and fly”; do your thing. Shoot, my motto for 2008 is “I’m doing it”. All the “its” I put on the back burner to simmer are getting the heat turned up on them so they can get done!
Y’all have a blessed day!
