Not that Valentine's Day every did anything for me anyway, but having to spend it in the E.R. was not a great alternative to just lounging around the house. There are so many unexpected things that occur as a parent when it comes to our children. I absolutely dread seeing the daycare's number show up on my caller i.d. especially when I'm a little over an hour away at school and I'm at the mercy of the bus driver getting to my child. Thank the Lord everything was okay, but I do believe I had at least three Fred Sanford heart attacks before I got off that bus and into to my car heading to the E.R. I did get a cute poem for Valentine's (though I see boycotting of this day in the future) and an invite to go hiking this next weekend. I can hardly wait for this hiking adventure. Hopefully the hole I managed to put in my toe will be healed by then. I thought there would be more poems by now but it seems that I can't seem to finish any of them. Perhaps I'm a little understimulated these days working the early morning shift. I want to sleep most of the time. Well I just wanted to give a quick update for those that were wondering about my goings on.
