Why is it so hot?

Hot: adj. hot·ter, hot·test - Having or giving off heat; capable of burning.
Being at a high temperature.

It is definitely capable of burning something out there. I’m so glad to be at the 12 hr job today. With the A/C keeping me cool. I cannot believe how hot is outside. Okay, so it's only 96 degrees out. It's still hot. I mean you add that to a 96-degree body temperature and you get like 192 degrees. Traveling in the daylight hours can be very hazardous to your health. I was thinking about running after work. Not going to happen today. Not with it being so hot you could set a skillet of grease outside and in like 10 minutes be able to fry chicken. Like you all really wanted to hear me complain about the heat. Well I did put another poem out called Sister. Check it out. If you like it tell your friends. If you don't, tell your friends anyway. No two people think the same about everything. Take Care.

Inconsiderate

As you may already know, I'm at work. It's Saturday and I'm not happy. Okay fine, deal with it right? I had planned to, that is until I was double-teamed by inconsiderateness. I'm trying to resolve a fairly important issue at work and these two decide to come here and bring out my mean side. Question 1. If someone is on the phone do you speak to them? Normal people are courteous and wait for you to finish your call. Not these two. Question 2. If someone is obviously irritated by you and has verbally said so, do you stick around and continue to bug them to the point of shear meaness when they are normally nice and easy to get along with? Most people can take a hint. Not these two. Question 3. If someone says get out! Normally they mean it. Why would you stay around? These two did. Needless to say, my Saturday at work has been far from quite. I've been on the phone all darn morning only to have no one answer any of the numbers I called. What is the freaking point of having a celluar phone if it's not on or you don't answer it. If it's on an emergency contact list wouldn't you think you should leave it on? I tell you it's the alcohol. I think people forget they have important jobs when they drink and how they should always be ready to perform them. Are there any responsible people left?

Coming to a realization!

Hi everyone! Okay may be I'm bored or something, but I was sitting here thinking about how I don't really like my job. I guess it doesn't fit who I am. I don't consider myself to be a sit behind the desk type of girl. Yet, let me leave this desk. I nearly get my butt chewed off for not being here. The best part is that I work a 12 hour shift! HA! Perhaps if it weren't here for so long and my job had a physical portion to it, it wouldn't be so bad. I guess this is all the gripe I have in me for now. It's the weekend maybe I'll go out... Oh yeah, I have to work this weekend. I know one things for sure. I'm going to get some chicken on a stick. I'm telling you it's awesome and will have you searching in the wee hours of the night for it. After work that is my mission. Until next time, may God Bless!

My First Blog Entry

Well, hello folks. I finally jumped on the blog bandwagon. Now I can rant and rave at any given moment granted I have access to the internet and for the most part, I do. I'm sitting here at work still trying to figure out why my work day started and 1230 am. Needless to say I'm tired and need sleep. Luckily I get to have Monday and Tuesday off to relax and go shopping. Most people will be at work so I can shop in peace.
In case any of you are wondering when there will be new poems posted... I will be able to complete at least two within a few weeks. I have a lot of unfinished work and I can't really write when I'm a upset and/or frustrated and work tends to put me in that mood. However, I have a couple days off to finish up some of my unfinished projects. Just be patient with me.
