Creepy Crawlers

Imagine living in a paradise like environment only have it be ruined by the siting of a monster in your home. This monster I speak of is a centipede. This thing was almost 9 inches long and almost impossible to kill. It has a deadly sting and is posionous. I am traumatized and probably need therapy. If you are ever on the web, look up a picture of a centipede common in Hawaii. I was going to attach one to this blog entry but just the thought of the thing has me freaking out. There are two things I fear after this siting: 1) one will bite my 2 year old 2) One or more of them will make it upstairs and get into either of our beds and bite us in our sleep. I might invest in a hammock and grease down the post so it can't get a grip to crawl up. Sleep is minimal in my house these days. Any suggestions to get rid of them....do tell! If you ever come to Hawaii, beware of the centipede!

Transformers!

I was like a kid in a candy store watching this movie. Michael Bay really did his thing with this film. I am going to see it again in theaters on my next day off. My son was forced to come with me and he did well by watching the first hour or so before coming in direct battle with his bedtime and on-screen robotic battling action. Bedtime KO'ed him. Even though my whole left-side was going numb under the weight of my two-year old I had a most wonderful movie experience. This was refreshing considering the last two movies I saw, Fantastic Four and 1408, were both beneath my expectations. If you haven't seen Transformers already go see and take a friend. Happy movie watching!
